About

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, which means I draw from a range of approaches so we can work in a way that feels right and supportive for you. I work collaboratively with you to explore thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be holding you back, while also recognising and building on existing strengths. My integrative training allows me to incorporate elements from different approaches, such as person-centred therapy, psychodynamic insight, and cognitive-behavioural techniques, creating a flexible and responsive therapeutic process. My aim is to offer a grounded, non-judgemental space where you can slow down, be heard, and start to make sense of what’s going on for you.

Methods I draw upon

·       Cognitive behavioural techniques - to identity and challenge core beliefs that may be untrue and negatively affecting your thoughts patterns and behaviours.

·       Psychodynamic - to identify root causes of patterns and create awareness of how and why you came to be as you are. With greater self awareness comes great change.

·       Inner child work - creating a connection with a younger version of self that often hold memories of painful experiences in order to process and integrate past wounds.

·       Shema therapy - identifying maladaptive schemas that may be unconsciously operating and playing out in unhelpful ways.

·       Person-Centred - I operate from a non judgmental perspective and value honesty, transparency and congruence within our sessions.

·       Somatic Awareness - exploring the mind body connection and physical sensations to create increased capacity and safety within yourself.

·       Jungian Shadow work exploration - bringing the unconscious to the conscious mind, shedding light on and integrating 'dark' or shadow elements of self.
